As a collective of three indigenous women, we want to bring forth a music fest featuring other indigenous self identified women, q***r and trans bands/musicians/artists on Dinetah with the theme “Honoring the Matriarch.” Our native communities experience high rates of domestic violence, sexual and gender violence, su***de, poverty, and substance abuse. As indigenous women, our main goal is to empo
wer our communities through music, workshops, food, community vendors, and prayer. This festival is self identified women led and we are looking for other self identified women, q***rs, and trans* folx who are interested in playing.
