SUN Bucks benefits for eligible New Mexico students are expected to begin June 15, 2026.

SUN Bucks is a one-time summer benefit issued per eligible student to help families buy food while school is out.

Some families may receive their SUN Bucks card before benefits are loaded. Benefits will not be available prior to June 15.

✔ Check your mailbox
✔ Keep your previous SUN Bucks card
✔ Benefits may be added to last year’s card

You may receive a new SUN Bucks card if:
✔ Your student is newly eligible
✔ The eldest child in your household graduated or aged out
✔ Your parent/guardian and mailing address changed

Benefits for some eligible students may also be added to last year’s SUN Bucks card, so families should keep any previously issued cards.

🌞Hello June is officially here! Come by the office if you want to grab food and snacks from the Pantry, laundry, Shower, Hygine Products or Just want to talk with staff before we go on break starting June 15th - July 12th!

Be sure to sign up for Open Office Hours dinner on Thursday! Fun and Popsicles! Wellness Sunday (Virtually) June 14th we will be doing a raffle.

It's time to mark your calendars: South Valley Pride Day 2026 is coming up on Sunday, April 26! 🎉

We'll have a parade (starting at Alberto's Tire Shop at 11 a.m.), followed by music, artisans, food, and lots of family fun.

Come out and enjoy a fun-filled day celebrating the South Valley community with activities and entertainment you won't want to miss!

🚘 Please note that parking is limited, so we encourage guests to use our free shuttle service from Rio Grande High School from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

We can’t wait to celebrate with you. See you there!

Through Opportunity Passport, she saved, stayed committed, and used her match to purchase her car. Now she has reliable transportation to get to work, appointments, and even take trips—like going camping and enjoying time outdoors.
