⚾️❤️🖤 Before National Coaches Day comes to an end, we want to recognize the MANY incredible coaches who have given their time to Petroglyph Little League — past and present! 🖤❤️⚾️

Our coaches do so much more than teach baseball and softball. They encourage, mentor, challenge, cheer, and help create memories our players will carry with them long after the season ends.

To every coach who has stepped onto a Petro field and poured their time and energy into our players — thank you!

👇 Leave a comment and recognize one of your favorite Petro coaches, past or present! Tell us their name and what made them special. ❤️⚾️🥎

❤️🖤⚾ THANK YOU, PETRO! ⚾🖤❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and supported our recent dinner fundraisers!

Because of YOU, we raised:

🍗 $240 from Raising Cane’s
🌯 $144 from Chipotle

That’s $384 back to Petroglyph Little League! 🙌

Every fundraiser helps us continue investing in our league — from field repairs and maintenance, to equipment, supplies, and other needs that help keep our players on the field and our program running strong.

Whether you stopped by for dinner, shared the post, invited friends and family, or helped spread the word, it all made a difference.

We are so grateful for our Petro community and for the local businesses that give us opportunities like these to raise money for our players. ❤️

Thank you for continuing to show up and support Petroglyph Little League! ⚾🥎

😂⚾ Apparently after all that rain, Petro has added fishing to the fall sports lineup. 🎣

We’ve officially spotted fish in the water around the fields, so at this point you may want to pack a glove, a bat… and maybe a fishing rod for game day. 😅

All jokes aside, this is a pretty good picture of just how much water we’ve been dealing with lately. Huge thanks again to everyone working behind the scenes to dry things out and get the fields playable.

Catch of the day: hopefully a baseball… but no promises. 😂🎣⚾

🌧️⚾ Thank you, Petro families, for your patience through all the rain, cancellations, and field closures. ❤️🖤

We know it has been a frustrating stretch, but please know that our board members, coaches, volunteers, and city workers have been working tirelessly to get the fields back into playable condition.

The City of Albuquerque came out to help pump water from the pond, and our league president, Elizabeth, has also been out there pumping water off the fields and doing whatever she can to help everything dry out and recover.

Most of our fields are getting back into shape, but softball is still a work in progress, and we are always grateful for extra hands when help is needed.
