On May 21, 2026, four male subjects walked into the Ulta Beauty store and conducted a Grab and Run theft. Upon entry, all subjects walked directly to the display shelves and loaded merchandise in bags. The subjects were aggressive toward store security. All four subjects worked together to take over $8,000.00 worth of merchandise and fled in a 2009 Nissan Versa hatchback NM license plate RNB163. Subjects are associated with other grab and run thefts.

On July 12, 2022, an unknown suspect drove up to the driver's side of a tan colored Honda SRV. The Honda was being driven by Chui Hsia Chen, who was parked on the south side of Grand Ave between San Mateo Blvd and Truman St NE. The suspect vehicle was a light-colored sedan and was driving east on Grand Ave. Once this vehicle reached Chui’s driver's side door, someone shot four times from the sedan, killing Chui Hsia Chen. The sedan then fled the area east on Grand Ave out of video view. Any information that could assist with this investigation

On March 2, 2026, two unidentified individuals used the below-pictured 2000–2006 Chevrolet Tahoe to commit a commercial burglary at Advanced Team Automotive, located at 3720 Hawkins St NE. The suspects initially broke into the business during the evening hours of March 2, 2026, and returned the following morning to remove additional items from the property. If anyone has received similar calls involving this vehicle or recognizes the vehicle, please contact Crime Stoppers.

On May 3, 2026, two masked suspects entered a business and engaged with employees. One suspect displayed a firearm and made threatening statements toward a victim before both individuals left the store. The incident may be connected to a prior shoplifting event.
Both suspects were wearing black ski masks. One was described as light-skinned with thick eyebrows, wearing a black t-shirt, gray sweatpants, and a tan bag, along with a distinctive chain with a cross. The second suspect was wearing a black t-shirt, black shorts, and white athletic shoes.
Investigators have developed information on the possible identities of the suspects without their masks. A vehicle believed to be involved is a black Ford Fusion with an unknown New Mexico license plate seen leaving the area.

A ShotSpotter activation occurred in the area of 2019 Jackson St SE, where a nearby vehicle was struck by gunfire. A vehicle of interest seen in the area at the time is described as a silver Audi Q5 with a black bumper. Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers. On March 20, 2026, Genovevo Rodriguez-Resendiz was found deceased with a stab wound at First Presbyterian Church located at 217 Locust St NE. Detectives need assistance identifying a person of interest in the homicide. On April 30, 2026, at approximately 11:50 a.m., two unidentified individuals wearing clothing that concealed their identities arrived at Hollow Spirits Distillery, located at 5210 Eubank Blvd NE, in a black dually pickup truck towing an open-top flatbed trailer. The suspects cut and removed approximately 100 feet of black metal fencing before leaving the area.

On March 29, 2026, a 15-year-old female was shot, and nearly killed, while attending a gathering at a parking garage located at 2001 Mountain Rd NW. At the time, there were multiple young people at the location who likely have relevant information regarding the shooting. The Albuquerque Police Department is asking for assistance from the community.
