Common Cause New Mexico CCNM works for good, transparent government in New Mexico because of supporters like you – we are the lobby for the people, by the people!

https://linktr.ee/commoncausenm Common Cause New Mexico is the leading force for common-sense reforms to improve the way government works in New Mexico. We have been on the front lines of numerous hard fought battles for voting rights and government accountability. In the past decades, we have been instrumental in the implementation of key state and municipal reform measures, including creation of the State Ethics Commission, voluntary public financing of campaigns for citywide races in Albuquerque and Santa Fe and campaigns for statewide judicial races. We worked to pass automatic and same-day voter registration, in addition to running our Election Protection program to combat voter suppression and intimidation. We’ve helped enact ranked choice voting for Santa Fe and Las Cruces. We've also succeeded in pushing for online campaign finance reporting, the Lobbyist Regulation Act, the Campaign Reporting Act and the Open Meetings Act.

Join Common Cause for an Election Protection Postcard Writing Party on Tuesday, October 13, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

We’ll write personal postcards to young New Mexico voters who may need an extra reminder and encouragement to make their voices heard.
A simple message from another person could help someone decide to show up and vote.

This is also a fun way to socialize, meet other people who care about voting rights, and get involved in Election Protection. We’ll provide everything you need. Just bring yourself and a friend!
