What can we say, we’re committed to understanding the participant experience. 🌟

Tummy time helps babies build strength in their neck, shoulders, arms, back, and core…which will help them with future motor milestones!

You can start tummy time with newborn babies in short increments, starting with 1-3 minutes a couple times a day. By around 3 months of age, aim for a total of 45-60 of tummy time each day, divided up into many short sessions.

Tummy time should always take place when babies are awake, supervised, and ideally at least 30 minutes after feeding.

Growth looks different for everyone, but it always deserves to be celebrated!

Our Family Support Services team works alongside participants and their families to build skills, foster independence, and create opportunities for people to thrive in our community. The result isn’t just learning new things…it’s greater confidence, stronger connections, and a fuller life.

We’re proud to support individuals and families as they discover what’s possible and continue reaching new milestones.

Another big THANK YOU to HUB International Southwest for joining us as a sponsor of Alta Mira’s No Go Gala!

As an insurance brokerage, they’re in the business of protecting what matters most…and we’re grateful they’ve chosen to invest in the children and families we serve, too.

Lametria Davis and Brandon Writtenberry—Thanks for helping us prove that you don’t need a ballroom, a fancy dinner, or a new outfit to make a meaningful impact. Your support is helping turn a night of not attending into something truly special for our community.

We’re so honored to have you as part of the No Go Gala!

SUN Bucks benefits for eligible New Mexico students are expected to begin June 15, 2026.

SUN Bucks is a one-time summer benefit issued per eligible student to help families buy food while school is out.

Some families may receive their SUN Bucks card before benefits are loaded. Benefits will not be available prior to June 15.

✔ Check your mailbox
✔ Keep your previous SUN Bucks card
✔ Benefits may be added to last year’s card

You may receive a new SUN Bucks card if:
✔ Your student is newly eligible
✔ The eldest child in your household graduated or aged out
✔ Your parent/guardian and mailing address changed

Benefits for some eligible students may also be added to last year’s SUN Bucks card, so families should keep any previously issued cards.

Some of the biggest breakthroughs don’t happen during our visits. They happen during snack time, bath time, play time…and all the little moments in between.

That’s why our Early Intervention team equips parents with simple tools and strategies they can use all week long to help their children practice and build new skills every day. 💜

You’re invited to NOT attend Alta Mira’s No Go Gala!

No tickets, no dress code, and no awkward small talk.

Instead of spending money on a traditional event, we’re asking our community to redirect those dollars toward something that matters even more: support for children and families navigating developmental delays and disabilities.

As a No Go Bonus, early donors will be entered to win 1 of 3 raffle prizes! Check our website for full details.

Skip the party, support the mission. 💜
