🚨 TEAMSTERS MAKE HISTORY AT AMAZON IN RHODE ISLAND

Nearly 100 Amazon delivery drivers at the DRI1 facility in Providence, Rhode Island, are standing together and demanding union recognition with the Teamsters.

The drivers, who operate out of Amazon’s largest delivery station in the state, marched on management to make their voices heard. Now members of Teamsters Local 251, they are making history as the first Amazon workers in Rhode Island to join the Teamsters.

When workers stand together, they have the power to demand the wages, protections, and respect they deserve. Congratulations to our newest Teamster brothers and sisters! ✊📦

🇺🇸 We Remember. We Honor. We Will Never Forget.

Today, Teamsters Local 492 pauses to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the courage of the first responders, workers, volunteers, and everyday Americans who stepped forward in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

We remember those who never made it home, those whose lives were forever changed, and all who answered the call to help others.

May we continue to carry forward the unity, compassion, and strength shown in the days that followed.

Never forgotten. Always remembered. 🇺🇸

💪🇺🇸 Happy Labor Day from Teamsters Local 492!

Today, we celebrate the workers who built this country, keep it moving, and continue fighting for a better future for working families.

The wages, benefits, protections, and rights workers have today didn’t happen by accident — they were fought for by generations of union members who understood the power of standing together. That fight continues every day.

To our Teamsters Local 492 brothers and sisters: your work matters, your voice matters, and your solidarity makes us stronger. ✊

Here’s to the workers. Here’s to the union. Happy Labor Day!

☀️✊ Labor Day Picnic Recap! ✊☀️

What a way to celebrate Labor Day! This past weekend was all about good food, great company, and the hardworking men and women who make our unions strong.

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us, brought their families, shared some laughs, and made this year’s Labor Day Picnic one to remember. Events like these remind us that being union is about more than the workplace — it’s about community, family, and always standing together.

We hope everyone had a great time, and we’re already looking forward to the next one! 💪

🏆🚛 Congratulations, Jeff Reed! 🚛🏆

Teamsters Local 492 Secretary-Treasurer Andrew Palmer was proud to present a Truck Rodeo buckle to Jeff Reed, this year’s New Mexico Champion in the Twins category!

Winning at the Truck Rodeo takes skill, precision, experience, and dedication, and we’re proud to see one of our own take home the title. Jeff represented Teamsters Local 492 with pride and showed exactly what Teamster excellence looks like behind the wheel.

Congratulations, Brother Jeff, on a well-earned championship! 💪🏆
