There’s only 365/366 days in a year, yet we manage to find ways to celebrate so many things. One of my favorites is coming up this Saturday, and you don’t have to drive a long distance or buy tickets in advance. It’s appropriate for the whole family - even the canary and the dog. Join the fun. Sing for peace. Sing just for the joy of it. From your own porch, patio, or sidewalk. If you’re a bit shy, sing from the back yard.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 29th is
PLAY MUSIC ON THE PORCH DAY!

New Mexico Peace Choir invites you to our concert this weekend, June 13 and 14, 3 pm.
Inspiring. Welcoming. Settling. Energizing. You will feel it!
Someone asked me what my favorite piece is. Though I want to say, “All of them,” because its true, I do have a particular connection to Kia Hora Te Marino, sung in Māori, and Čhanté Wašté Hokšíla, a traditional Lakota lullaby.
Come. Feel. Enjoy. You will hum all the way home, I promise.

We are 10 days away from our concert, Where We Belong. I hope you can attend, either in person or by live-stream. As we enter summer in New Mexico, we also enter monsoon season - heat rising from the earth and water falling from the sky. This is our summer. This is where we belong!
