ATTN Creative, Educators, and Interactive Partners!! The Rail Yards Market is seeking partners to facilitate interactive activities for all ages during May - October!

The .abq seeking educators and community organizations to contribute INTERACTIVE, live, and family-friendly activities and demonstrations at the Rail Yards Market of Albuquerque. In the past we've hosted groups for live demonstrations including gardening, pottery, 3D printing, recipes/cooking, herbalism, painting and more!! Help us enrich our communities!! Check out our themes, and apply to be an educational demonstrator!!

What makes the Rail Yards Market different? Farmers' Markets experience is so much more than commerce!! We believe community spaces should be inviting, exciting, interactive, and fun places to learn, grow, and exchange ideas. Every Sunday throughout May to October we not only curate a welcoming environment featuring 175+ local farm, food and maker vendors, but we believe all visitors should come away enriched and ready to share with their communities. That's why every week we maintain different THEMES where we work with local educators, organizers, musicians and community partners to celebrate traditions, learning, and cultural technique that are important to the many diverse communities that we serve.

Local food is for everyone!🥕
Stop by the market this Sunday where we believe that fresh and local food should be accessible and affordable to all.
As a non-profit organization, we work hard to remove barriers of access by keeping prices low for vendors, and welcoming SNAP, WIC, and double-up-food-bucks.
Meet local changemakers, explore resources, and shop from vendors committed to building a more equitable Albuquerque. Together, we can create a future where opportunities are shared, voices are heard, and our community is stronger because of its diversity!

🌟PROGRAMMING🌟

Stop by these community tables and get connected with local resources!

🧳Albuquerque Job Corps: a Federal Job Training Program under the Department of Labor which offers free Job (trade) Training, High School (or equivalency), Driver's License, Associate's Degree (through CNM), Housing, Meals, and basic Wellness. ABQ Job Corps offers wrap around services to low-income students ranging from the ages of 16-24, however documented disability can potentially wave the 24-age limit. Job Corps enrolls year-round on a weekly basis, in addition to these free opportunities students also earn a bi-weekly stipend and graduation stipend ranging anywhere from $200-1,200 dollars. ABQJCC is completely self-paced with a program limit of 3 years total.

📞The New Mexico Sexual Assault Helpline: a free and confidential helpline for survivors to receive support and connection. The first thing you will hear when reaching out is "I'm here to listen'. The NMSA Helpline is operating 24/7 through phone, online chat, or text and can be reached at 1-844-667-2457 or at nmsahelp.org.
