Partnership for Community Action We work at two levels for maximum impact. In communities, we help people develop as leaders to create change for their families and their neighborhoods.

The Partnership for Community Action is committed to building strong healthy communities through relationship building, leadership development and civic engagement. Partnership for Community Action is an advocacy and education organization that engages New Mexicans in learning about the issues that most affect their lives and encouraging them to get involved in civic life. At the state level, we advocate for systemic change that improves access to quality education, wellness and economic opportunity for all New Mexicans.

🌟 Baby Bonds: A Future Worth Funding! 🌟

Join Partnership for Community Action (PCA) for our upcoming Together We Rise Coalition Meeting, featuring New Mexico State Treasurer Laura Montoya, who will share insights on Baby Bonds, the research behind this policy, and what it could mean for the future of New Mexico’s children and families.

📅 Monday, October 26
🕕 6:00–8:00 PM

Every child deserves a strong financial foundation for opportunity. Yet too often, a child’s future is shaped by where they are born, their family’s wealth, and the resources available to them long before adulthood.

💡 Baby Bonds offer an opportunity to begin changing that.

This is more than a policy discussion. It’s an opportunity for parents, youth, and community members to learn, ask questions, and help shape what a statewide Baby
Bonds program could look like in New Mexico.

🗣️ Your voice matters, and we want you at the table!

As a young mom, Cheyenne worried about returning to work and trusting someone else to care for her baby.

Family support and a flexible workplace helped her through those early years. Now, in New Mexico, she is helping other parents learn about child care resources and speaking up about what families need.

Free child care did more than help Maisie cover a bill. It made it possible for her to work full time, finish her degree, and create more stability for her family in New Mexico.

In Finishing University and Staying to Pay It Forward, Maisie shares what support has made possible and why she is speaking up so other families can have the same opportunity.
