Rev. Amani talks us that her objective in sharing this series is "to practice ritual and ceremony as essential spiritual technologies that help us stay rooted in our divine nature, resourced in our bodies, and able to live as Love in a world that constantly pulls us off center.

I find myself reaching for my sacred rattle, lighting a candle and playing a prayer spontaneously when my nervous system is on high alert. I have found my typical morning prayers have needed an upgrade to hopping outside and praying with my bare feet on the ground. I’m taking offerings and heartache to the garden more than I used to—all as necessary methods of connecting to the holy now.

The beauty and power of ritual and ceremony might just be the perfect companions to meet our lives as the sacred warriors we are being asked to be."

Be inspired each day with our Spirit Calling. This is a two minute recorded message in the morning and a texted affirmation in the evening.

This week, Joy Lynn has been sharing her beautiful words of insight and wisdom on June series, "Made Sacred: Ritual and Ceremony for Our Lives."

Rev. Amani shares why rituals and ceremonies are needed, "You’ve been remembering who you are. You’ve been turning toward your spiritual nature more and more. You’ve been using your tools and remembering to do the simple things like deep breaths, gratitude, centering, and grounding…

But how do you keep it going and make this holy place your home?

It seems easier and easier to lose sight of the Good, the sacred. It seems harder and harder to hold onto love.

The stormy seas of fear, urgency, and despair only seem to be rising. If we’re not careful, we will be carried away on these waves—further and further from our true and holy nature and the power of that.

I don’t know about you, but I seem to need even stronger structures to hold what I know is true as the storms rage on."

💜REMINDER - We do not gather today. Today is a day of rest💜

In the month of May, Rev. Amani invited each of us to interrupt "the patterns in our beliefs, conscious AND unconscious, that keep us stuck in cycles of harm, depletion, and disconnection. Patterns in our thinking. Patterns in our habits. Patterns in our bodies. Patterns in our families and relationships.
Only when a pattern is interrupted can something new begin.

This month, we practice[d] that interruption—sweetly, compassionately and powerfully using the ancient technology known as metaphysics.

To interrupt what no longer serves we must listen. And then—we choose.

There is discernment in creation.
Not everything is meant to take root.
Not every thought deserves belief.
Not every pattern deserves continuation.

Part of manifesting is learning to trust that yes again. To trust what is bubbling up from under the surface of your habits and misbeliefs.
To trust what actually nourishes your wholeness.

To trust what is emerging in your consciousness and moving you toward greater health, joy, and well-being—even in small, imperfect ways."
