Albuquerque Metro Rotary Club Albuquerque Metro Rotary Club Our Club was founded under the principal of being a non traditional club with a focus on hands on projects.

As our first club president stated, ours is a club whose members put their hands into gloves, not just into their wallets. Since our inception, we have performed events like cleaning a veterans home, taking several Joy Junction children to an Albuquerque Isotopes Minor League baseball game, our first ever car show to raise funds for Paws & Stripes, and raised money and collected toys for the Atrisco Elementary School kids to provide one of the more fiscally challenged schools a moment of Christmas cheer. This site will provide an historical record of all of the club's events. Check back often and maybe you can become part of something wonderful.

Our Rotary club was honored to help NM Vets for Pets (https://nmvetsforpets.org) purchase and distribute dog and cat food for community members who need a little extra support caring for their animals. This partnership lifts up veterans and non‑veterans alike, and it felt amazing to help keep pets fed, loved, and home where they belong. So proud of our club and the heart behind this work.

Yesterday, the Rio Grande Valley Blue Star Mothers’ had a packing, this time in time for the 4th of July. Metro Rotary Club members, friends, and family helped hand out items and packed boxes. We helped pack 400 this time!! What a great way to spend a morning supporting active duty troops. Please consider donating to their cause as well as volunteering to help at the next packing in November. 🇺🇸❤️

Sean Kassebaum, an Air Force veteran and Board member of the Honor Flight of Northern New Mexico came to speak to our Club tonight. Honor Flights of Northern NM is a volunteer organization who seeks Guardians and organizes travel for veterans from WWII, Korea and Vietnam. Their mission is to transport New Mexico's veterans to Washington D.C. to reflect upon the memorials dedicated to honor their service and sacrifices.

Their next flight arrives in Albuquerque Friday, June 5th at 5:30pm. They hope to have as many people as they can there at the airport to welcome them home.
