Connect with others in our doula community as we create affirmation cards and mini-visions boards to support our practices. Today, we honor everyone stepping into the role of father, guide, and relative. We celebrate all dads, our stepdads, our Two-Spirit and q***r parents, uncles, chosen family, and those we have lost connection with through the family seperation policies.
For those breaking cycles, navigating strained bonds, or sitting with the grief of missing an ancestor, or relishing in the presence of the father figures in your life, we hold the complexity and care required to navigate it all. Fatherhood is not one-size-fits-all. However you are moving through today, we wish for all to expereince fathers as a way towards community and care.

We know that birthing people and their families reflect the beautiful and powerful diversity that sustains all ecosystems and life. At CWI, we support our diverse Indigenous communities to renew cultural birth, and the fundamental Indigenous human right to reproductive health, dignity, and justice. We proudly stand with and support our 2SLGBTQIA+ relatives, no matter how anyone identifies or how a family is built. At Changing Woman Initiative, our mission is to empower our diverse Indigenous communities to protect cultural birth resiliency and the fundamental Indigenous right to reproductive health, dignity, and justice.

By providing cultural birth knowledge and promoting reproductive wellness and healing through holistic approaches, we encourage the reclamation of Indigenous sovereignty of women’s medicine and lifeway teachings.
