New Mexico Autism Society KHeavensent Scholarship The KHeaven Sent Scholarship was created in memory of Kevin DeAnda, a 2001 Eldorado High School graduate who had Autism and severe mental illness.

THE NEW MEXICO AUTISM SOCIETY KHEAVEN SENT SCHOLARSHIP FUND was created for New Mexico autistic individuals who are enrolled in an accredited college pursuing higher education. It is being made possible through the generosity of his family, friends, the Autism community and other generous donors through collaboration with the New Mexico Autism Society. The scholarship fund was established to conti

nue the pattern of kindness that Kevin regularly showed others in his daily life and to encourage individuals with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder to pursue and achieve their academic goals. Through this program, Kevin’s memory will live on by providing educational opportunities to deserving New Mexico high school graduates touched by Autism who plan to attend an eligible accredited college or university under the Internal Revenue Code.

Sean King was Kheaven Sent's first scholarship recipient. I think I need to rewatch this at least once a year as a reminder of how we should all be. What an amazing young man! One of the tenets of Kheaven Sent is kindness. Sean absolutely embodies:
