Meet Tigger 🐾

Tigger is about 7 years old, and in many ways, she chose us. She showed up at our office one day and has been part of our daily lives ever since.

She’s a sweet, gentle girl with a shy side. Tigger can be a little skittish at first, but with patience and a calm environment, her loving personality really starts to shine. She enjoys having her own space and would do best in a home where she can feel safe, comfortable, and truly cared for.

While we’ve loved having her around, we know she deserves more attention, stability, and warmth than an office can provide. We’re hoping to find her a home where she can fully relax and be someone’s companion.

If you or someone you know is looking for a quiet, kind-hearted cat to welcome into their life, Tigger might be the perfect fit.

Two weeks ago, we gathered with partners, neighbors, community leaders, and our wonderful volunteers to celebrate the groundbreaking of The Cottages at Chama St. 🏡

This project reflects years of collaboration and community vision to expand stable, accessible housing in Albuquerque’s International District.

StreetVision Housing Strategies, in collaboration with the Center for Housing Economics, Improve Group, Brace Builders, Bernalillo County, and Housing New Mexico, is excited to announce that our long-anticipated affordable housing project, The Cottages at Chama St, will break ground on February 28, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.

We would be honored to have you join us as we celebrate this important milestone for the International District and take a meaningful step toward expanding stable, community-rooted housing in Albuquerque.

This MLK Jr. Day, join us in honoring Dr. King’s legacy through service and connection! StreetVision and the Bernalillo County Extension Master Composters (BCEMC) are co-hosting a hands-on sheet mulch composting workshop at 301 Espanola.

Spend the afternoon getting outside, caring for the soil, and connecting with neighbors...all while making a lasting and deep impact in our community. 🌱

Help us name the owl!!

You might have wondered why there’s an owl sculpture at the 301 Espanola house. Well, we can’t leave fun out of our street vision! While cutting down a dead tree, our arborist decided to collaborate with a chainsaw carving artist to create a special gift for our future neighbors. 🎁

At StreetVision, we believe creativity is a vital part of community building. By weaving art into our housing projects, we invite neighbors to reimagine what’s possible, transforming spaces with creativity, expression, and shared imagination. Art brings life to walls, gardens, and gathering places, reflecting the spirit of those who call this neighborhood home.
