Today New Mexico Nurses Honor Guard in Las Cruces had the great honor of paying tribute to Lottie Venable. Lottie dedicated over 45 years to nursing. After she retired Lottie found time to work with nursing organizations, volunteer cook at El Caldito, travel along with being an active member of University United Methodist Church. This amazing nurse's legacy is her family and all she touched throughout her life

Today had the privilege to witness the planting of a tree placed in memory of a nurse who cared for patients in this hospital. the touching tribute was attended by her family and her work family. It is clear this nurse was a shinning light at the hospital and for her family.
