Our Economic Equity Director, Delma, recently attended the JAG New Mexico Career Development Conference to share information on Bank On Youth Accounts with teens who may need them as they enter the workforce. Along with Vanessa Arballo from Bank On Burque, they were able to get teens connected to safe and affordable banking options!

We’re looking for community professionals to join JAG-NM’s Career Development Conference (CDC) 2026 as judges! New Mexico youth need your feedback to develop their professional skills in a meaningful way.
Choose what works best for your schedule: virtual, hybrid, or in-person:

- Virtual & Hybrid judging is open Feb 16–Mar 10.
- Hybrid judges will score projects online and then judge student presentations in person on March 11th
- All judges are invited to a virtual training to walk through the platform and rubrics/scoresheets.

Youth voice matters, especially where decisions are made. JAG-NM students visited the Roundhouse in Santa Fe to ask questions, share perspectives, and learn how legislation becomes action.

And this JAG Day, our youth were joined by JAG National leaders Jan Ennis, Senior Vice President of Operations, and Stephanie Hartung, Director of Strategic Advancement & Development.
