Justice for Robert Salas.

Tonight, we gather to honor Robert’s life and stand with the people who loved him.

Before he became a headline, Robert was a father, a son, a community member, and a friend. He was loved. His life mattered. His loved ones deserved more time with him.

No past, no allegation, and no mistake can justify the violence that took Robert’s life. Police officers do not get to act as the jury, judge, and executioner.

While we gather tonight in Albuquerque, Robert’s family and loved ones in El Paso will be holding a vigil of their own. Two communities will come together to mourn the same loss, honor the same life, and demand the same thing: justice.

Call Mayor Tim Keller 505-768-3000 and urge him not to sign this harmful ordinance. Criminalizing our unhoused neighbors is not care or community support. We believe everyone deserves dignity, housing, resources, and compassion, not fines and jail time for living outside. We need real solutions rooted in care, not criminalization.

Join us in Bernalillo at the Northeast corner of Highway 550 & Tamaya Blvd. in a direct action protest on the opening and closing days of the "Nuclear in NM Conference: Fueling the US Nuclear Renaissance."

The Clean Energy Association of New Mexico (CLEAN) and the New Mexico Nuclear Alliance plan to host this conference at Tamaya Resort and Spa on Santa Ana Pueblo lands. Our state is being targeted for new uranium and nuclear projects backed by billionaires, and this conference is intended to push the future of nuclear energy (and weapons) onto New Mexican communities.

SouthWest Organizing Project, MULTICULTURAL ALLIANCE FOR A SAFE ENVIRONMENT (MASE), Dine No Nukes, Pueblo Action Alliance, and Tewa Women United are organizing this action to inform and protect our people, our global family, and future generations from forever radioactive destruction.

Fascism is not coming, it is already here.

It is growing out of systems that have always been violent. Imperialism, capitalism, and state violence are not broken, they are functioning exactly as designed. They extract, they dispossess, and they maintain power, at home and across the world.

Permitted protests has not stopped it, and it will not. Parades with no demands, no targets, and no strategy do not challenge these systems, they leave them untouched. They turn resistance into something contained, predictable, and easy to ignore.

From U.S. wars abroad to repression at home, the same system is tightening its grip. While our relatives are bombed overseas, our neighbors are targeted here at home. This is not a contradiction. It is the design. And no amount of reform will ever fix it.

If you are ready to move beyond symbolism, beyond voting, beyond waiting, then this is where you need to be.

The Hook Up is holding their "Hook It Up Sunday" event at Street Vision (123 Vermont St NE) this month and will be offering resources and supplies to friends from 11am-2pm on Sunday, March 15th.

They will be providing body work, hygiene supplies, warm food and drinks, clothes, camp supplies, harm redux gear, safe s*x supply, bicycle repair, sti testing, wash station and more.

Community, we need your support! We are extremely worried about a woman who is a prisoner in Las Vegas jail. She urgently needs medical help and is being denied.

Please call if you are able. She needs to be transported to a hospital and the jail is denying support.
