The LIBRE Institute - New Mexico is a 501c3 nonpartisan and nonprofit organization that raises public awareness and serves as a source of information on the most pressing economic issues of our time, primarily to the Hispanic community throughout New Mexico. Today there are 3.1 million Latino-owned businesses across the U.S., and Latinas especially, are prominent job creators starting businesses at a rate six times the national average and accounting for 1 in every 10 women-owned businesses. Through partnerships with community leaders, policy experts and public officials across the State and Country, The Institute is the gateway to get informed about the many challenges that currently face our State and the Hispanic community. Together, we can work to protect the values that for generations have allowed people everywhere to aspire, take action, and achieve the American Dream—because we know that freedom drives progress in everything we do.
