Hello out there! I am a 38 year old teacher with the heart of a 25 year old 😂. I am originally from Texas but I am also an Air Force spouse. I have worked with kids of all ages since I have been married. I had the opportunity to work at Child Development Centers and Youth Centers for multiple AF bases. I left New Mexico mid school year and had no intention of going back yearly. But, that’s another story. I’m currently entering my 5th year in a new school and still teaching 1st grade. I have a 13 year old and a 4 year old. They drive me crazy but I can’t imagine life without them.

Lisa and I have always talked about getting a page/podcast started. We have so many stories about teaching, mom life and just love having conversations about life in general. I am definitely not a “feels” type of person but I have found talking about things takes the pressure and frustration away.

Leaving you with a motto I use everyday as a military spouse/mom/teacher:

Hello world 🌎! I love writing using emojis 😊! As you can see above 👆🏻, I am a 34 year old teacher in New Mexico. I have been teaching elementary school for 6 years. I have taught 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade. I am currently entering the new year as a 2nd grade teacher.
I have two beautiful pains in my butt! They are 3 1/2 years old and 3 1/2 months old. I am re-entering the classroom after being on maternity leave since the end of March (that’s a whole other post for another time).

My friend, Amanda, and I decided to start this page for our own amusement, pleasure, outlet to bitch about life… 🤷‍♀️

Too often you feel silenced when it comes to life experience, and it helps talking to friends. I have,also, found that it helps talking to strangers who may be able to share a new perspective on something you’re going through in your own life.
I am hoping this page becomes an outlet for kindred spirits and can support women who are fulfilling multiple roles in an ever-changing world.
