In the 80s, children’s TV programs could be…well, a little weird, if we're being honest.

A frog named Kermit hosted a variety show.

His girlfriend was a glamorous pig who definitely should have seen a therapist on the regular.

And a pal from a nearby neighborhood lived in a garbage can.

Here's the thing: nobody thought this was weird back then.

And you know what? We all turned out fine. If anything, the Muppets prepared us for adulthood better than anything on the internet today.

On March 29, 2026, a 15-year-old female was shot, and nearly killed, while attending a gathering at a parking garage located at 2001 Mountain Rd NW. At the time, there were multiple young people at the location who likely have relevant information regarding the shooting. The Albuquerque Police Department is asking for assistance from the community.

🚨 MIDNIGHT TRAGEDY: 16-YEAR-OLD GIRL KILLED IN SHOCKING CRASH IN El Paso

The silence of the night was shattered by a brutal crash… and in seconds, a young life was gone forever.

Jennifer López, just 16 years old, died after a violent accident in east El Paso, leaving a devastated family and a community in shock.

💥 A NIGHT THAT ENDED IN DISASTER

It was around 1:44 a.m. Saturday when everything happened. A vehicle was traveling through the area when, for reasons still under investigation, the driver lost control.

The car began to slide dangerously… until the inevitable happened:
it slammed sideways into a utility pole.

The impact was so severe that it turned the scene into a nightmare.

Jennifer, who was riding in the back seat, suffered critical injuries.
Paramedics rushed to the scene and transported her to a hospital.

But her fight for life ended shortly after.

The teenager did not survive.

The driver, an 18-year-old, was behind the wheel at the time of the crash.
