Hello Friends-
We have been getting A LOT of garbage donated lately. Many of the items donated we have had to throw away or take to thrift stores because they are not appropriate to donate for the animals.
If we continue to get more that we have to throw away than donate to the shelters, we will close donations from the public.
Here is a reminder of what we do not accept:

Valencia County Animal Shelter drop- July 2025

This shelter is in one of the worst counties in all of New Mexico for animal welfare. People will breed and sell puppies for a profit and when they can’t sell them, they drop them at the shelter. This shelter is always 100% full and has to constantly euthanize for space.

We adopted our sweet Wally from this shelter in 2020 and he is the best pound puppy we could have asked for. If you are looking for a furry companion for your family (or 2 or 3) please consider saving a life from Valencia County! ❤️🐾🐾

Torrance County Animal Shelter drop- July 2025

Today I was able to drop blankets, towels, bowls, harnesses, leashes, and toys to the animals of Torrance county. This county supports all of the surrounding towns and areas. They are such kind people that do amazing work. Follow their page! They have some adorable critters that need homes! Thank you all for donating! ❤️🐾🐾

Moriarty Animal Control drop- July 2025

I was able to drop towels, blankets, beds, a kennel, and some potty pads for all the new puppies at the Moriarty shelter! Thank you for all of your donations and if you are looking for a new furry family member, they have some cuties waiting to be adopted! ❤️🐾🐾

Albuquerque Animal Welfare drop- June 2025

The shelter is full so today I was able to drop some supplies to help care for the animals. If you are looking to foster or adopt, they could use all the help they can get right now!

Also, I am so excited that they started an emergency food bank to help animals stay in homes! This is an amazing opportunity for our town and a great resource to stop animals from being surrendered due to food costs!

June’s Senior Cat Rescue drop- March 2025

We got in lots of beds, blankets, and bowls for cats so they went to the seniors in June’s care! This is an amazing rescue doing wonderful things for the community! Give them a follow and watch where our donations go next!

Santuario de Karuna drop- March 2025

SDK never disappoints with the happy customer pictures! Look at those piggies! 🐷
I have been super sick but Joel was the lucky one that got to drop comforters off to the sanctuary and meet some donkeys! Farm animals enjoy comforts as well!
We are blessed to be able to know the amazing people that care for these sweet faces and donate some care items to help spoil them!
When you donate to us, you are keeping items out of the landfill and allowing sweet animals to reuse them to bring comfort to their lives.
