Indian Mountain Lake Civic Association Indian Mountain Lake is a privately owned, gated community located in the Pocono Mountains. This is the only official IMLCA page!

Any other pages or groups are not affiliated with the Association. Call us with any questions, we are happy to help! Indian Mountain Lake is a private gated homeowner’s community nestled in the scenic Pocono Mountains of northeast Pennsylvania, close to the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike and Interstate 80, as well as some of Pennsylvania's finest resorts, ski areas, less than 10 minutes from Pocono Raceway and many shopping outlets. Members can marvel at the exquisite beauty the area has to offer, including but not limited to historic Jim Thorpe, Bushkill Falls, Hickory Run and so much more. Indian Mountain Lake amenities include an Administration Building/Clubhouse, five lakes, two outdoor swimming pools and a kiddie pool, four tennis courts and two basketball courts. We also pride ourselves on our many inclusive social events for our residents and their guests. Annual dues provide services for road maintenance, trash removal, 24 hour security patrol, gated entrances and use of Association amenities. To insure the privacy and security of our members, access is restricted to persons who can provide proper identification for themselves and their vehicles. All property owners are members of the Indian Mountain Lake Civic Association pursuant to each property's deed covenants. The physical lands of Indian Mountain Lake are located in Monroe and Carbon counties and consist of approximately 4,600 acres with 3,262 single family residential building lots. Our association is a part of Tunkhannock, Chestnuthill, Penn Forest and Polk Townships and we follow all regulations for each township. We also cover three school districts including Pocono Mountain (Monroe, Tunkhannock), Pleasant Valley (Monroe, Chestnuthill) and Jim Thorpe (Carbon, Penn Forest).

IMLCA Halloween! October 31st, 2026 👻🎃

See the below flyer for event details! Members are reminded that during trick or treat, the speed limit on Mountain Road is reduced to 5 mph.

Members interested in handing out candy at trunk or treat or at their own home during trick or treat are asked to sign up with the office. Signs will be given to members so the little monsters know it is safe to knock on your door!

 *If, in the event of inclement weather, trunk or treat will be moved up to 2-4pm in the Clubhouse and will coincide with trick or treat! 
Trick or Treat will not be canceled due to weather!

New Crafters & Flea Market Dates

We are ADDING more dates for our Crafters and Flea Markets here in the community!

October 31st from 10am – 2pm
This is our SPOOOOOKY Fair! We highly encourage all vendor and attendees to come in costume and ask vendors to have candy at each table for our little trick or treaters to visit everyone.

November 21st from 10am – 2pm
This is our Thanksgiving/ Early Black Friday event! Get a head start on your holiday shopping with locally sourced goods and products! Vendors are encouraged to offer great deals for our members for this one time chance for awesome savings.

At both of these craft fairs lunch will be sold, with menus announced closer to the event. In addition, we will be holding free drawings every hour of each event! Stick around and wait to hear your name called for an awesome free prize!
(Vendors, we ask each of you to donate a small prize the day of the event to help get your business out there 😊)

Coffee will be sold all day at each event, and vendors get their first cup free as a thank you for participating!

We are happy to announce that we are looking for new and exciting vendors from outside of IML! If you know of any great local vendors who would like to sell their wares here in our community, please have them call the office to get set up.

In order to get as many vendors as possible and give the community more choices, we will only be selling individual tables on these specific dates for $10 each.

IMLCA Kids Fishing Derby #2!
Sunday August 30th @ Fishing Lake!
Registration starts at 9am and fishing will be from 10am-12pm. If you have not been to one of Indian Mountain Lakes Kids’ Derbies, you are missing out!

• There will be HUNDREDS in prizes donated from local merchants.
• Food and drink is provided for all participants.
• If a child does not have a rod and reel, we have loaner rods & reels.
• A special stocking will occur a few days before the derby.
• Once stocking is complete, Fishing Lake is closed for fishing until August 30, 1pm.

Derby is for kids 15 and younger. No one 16 and older may have a line in the water until the tournament’s completion.
No child may be in control of more than 1 rod at a time (i.e. one line in the water per child).

Derby is at Fishing Lake. Register at the large blue tent in the parking lot.
Bait will be provided for all children.

ATTENTION!!!
Traffic flow will be affected from 8am until 2pm for the derby. North Shore Drive from Cherry Lane to Linden Drive will be CLOSED except to allow parking on North Shore Drive near Fishing Lake.

IMLCA Summer 2026 Curbside Wood Chipping
FINAL NOTICE! SIGNUPS END TODAY!!
8/7/26 AT 3PM!

IMLCA is offering a chance for you to clean up and remove the piles of dead tree branches, dried brush, and shrubbery from your property. Pick-up will start on August 10th. Anyone interested in the curbside wood chipping service can stop in the office, sign up and pay $80 for an area of
10’L x4’W x 4’H.
Have more than that, no problem, just be sure to pay for any additional piles.
This is a great chance to help clean up your property, improve property value and minimize the chances of a brush fire.

Once signed up you will have 2+ weeks prior to start hauling your dead branches, dried brush and shrubbery to the front lawn area, 3 feet off the road. The Pine Ridge Services will retrieve the branches from the front lawn area, chip and haul away. We ask that you be mindful about the amount of brush you place out and ensure that it does not fall into the road. If you have a swale, place the branches behind the swale but closest to your driveway for ease of access.

Note: This service is for tree branches, shrubbery and dried brush only. Branches larger than 10” in diameter will not be taken. If you require assistance with removal of trees or hauling of branches from the back of your home to the front property line, you will need to contact Pine Ridge Services or another tree service for personal service.

The area to place the tree branches can be 10’ W x 4’ L x 4’ H. If you break down the larger branches you can get more into the pile. Anything more than that will be an additional $80. You can place out branches up to 10” in diameter.
