Indian Mountain Lake Civic Association

Indian Mountain Lake Civic Association Indian Mountain Lake is a privately owned, gated community located in the Pocono Mountains. This is the only official IMLCA page!

Any other pages or groups are not affiliated with the Association. Call us with any questions, we are happy to help! Indian Mountain Lake is a private gated homeowner’s community nestled in the scenic Pocono Mountains of northeast Pennsylvania, close to the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike and Interstate 80, as well as some of Pennsylvania's finest resorts, ski areas, less than 10

minutes from Pocono Raceway and many shopping outlets. Members can marvel at the exquisite beauty the area has to offer, including but not limited to historic Jim Thorpe, Bushkill Falls, Hickory Run and so much more. Indian Mountain Lake amenities include an Administration Building/Clubhouse, five lakes, two outdoor swimming pools and a kiddie pool, four tennis courts and two basketball courts. We also pride ourselves on our many inclusive social events for our residents and their guests. Annual dues provide services for road maintenance, trash removal, 24 hour security patrol, gated entrances and use of Association amenities. To insure the privacy and security of our members, access is restricted to persons who can provide proper identification for themselves and their vehicles. All property owners are members of the Indian Mountain Lake Civic Association pursuant to each property's deed covenants. The physical lands of Indian Mountain Lake are located in Monroe and Carbon counties and consist of approximately 4,600 acres with 3,262 single family residential building lots. Our association is a part of Tunkhannock, Chestnuthill, Penn Forest and Polk Townships and we follow all regulations for each township. We also cover three school districts including Pocono Mountain (Monroe, Tunkhannock), Pleasant Valley (Monroe, Chestnuthill) and Jim Thorpe (Carbon, Penn Forest).

Upcoming Events in IMLCA!

This Saturday is Trout Stocking at Fishing Lake in preparation for the Kids Fishing Derby! 🐟
Please join the Lakes and Fishery Committee on Saturday, May 30th @ 1 PM to stock the fish for the Kid's Fishing Derby! This special stocking will be at Fishing Lake and once completed the lake will be closed to all fishing until the Kid's Fishing Derby on June 7th.
Stocking the fish is always a great time for the children - kid's can grab buckets, see the fish first hand and dump them into the lake!

The 2026 Kids Annual Fishing Derby is being held Sunday, June 7th! 🎣🐠
Registration starts at 9am and fishing will be from 10am-12pm. If you have not been to one of Indian Mountain Lakes Kids’ Derbies, you are missing out!

There will be THOUSANDS in prizes donated from local merchants
Food and drink will be provided for all the participants
If a child does not have a rod and reel, we will make sure they are able to fish!
A special stocking will occur the week of the derby for the kids.
The Derby is only for kids 15 and younger. No one 16 and older may have a line in the water until the tournament’s completion
No child may be in control of more than 1 rod at a time (i.e, one line in the water per child)

For the 6th straight year we are having the derby at Fishing Lake to provide additional room for everyone
Once the stocking has occurred, fishing is closed to everyone at Fishing Lake until the start of the tournament
Bait will be provided for all children
ATTENTION!
Traffic flow will be affected from 8am until 2pm for the derby. North Shore Drive from Cherry Lane to Linden Drive will be CLOSED except to allow parking for the Fishing Derby. See the map below for traffic patterns: The ONE WAY IS ONLY FOR PARTICIPANTS TO PARK. The yellow is the detour for passer-by's.

The IMLCA Lakes and Fishery committee would like to send a big THANK YOU to all the businesses and individuals that have contributed to the 2026 Derby.!

Attention Membership,
With Memorial Day Weekend coming up, we wanted to inform residents of a few tips and reminders for the holiday weekend:

Register early! This avoids any delays at the gates.
Make sure your guest knows your last name and the address in IML.
Remind your guests to have a valid license when they arrive at the gate.
It doesn’t matter which gate you call! All passes are entered into the system for both gates.
Passes can only be issued for one week starting from the date the pass is requested.

You may email the gates 24 hours in advance at [email protected].
If you are emailing the gates for a pass, please make sure to include this information:
Pin Number
Your Name
IML Address
Guest Names (full names, no nicknames!)
Dates for Pass
If you call the gates and cannot get through, keep trying! Remember, it is a holiday weekend and the gates are very busy. Your call will bounce back and forth from the 115 Gate to the 534 Gate until someone answers.

Weather permitting, Winding Way Pool and Boulder Lake Beach will be OPEN for swimming from 11 AM - 7 PM on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Due to ongoing repairs, Seneca Pool will be closed, and we apologize for any inconvenience. Please keep an eye out for an eblast in case of inclement weather.

While at the beaches and pools, all residents and guests (6 years of age and older) must have valid amenity badges on their person. Short-term renters will be required to have proper wristbands to gain access. Wristbands can be purchased in the office and at the Winding Way pool for the weekend.
Please remember swimming at the beach may only occur inside the ropes, and you may not swim from or to watercraft.

Anyone interested in fishing must have their amenity badge/wristband and PA fishing license in order to fish on our waters. All watercraft must be properly registered with the office and display the current 2026 sticker.

The IMLCA Office will be CLOSED on Monday, May 25th, in observance of Memorial Day. The office will reopen at 8 AM on Tuesday, May 26th.

Contractors may not perform any work within IMLCA on Sunday (5/24) or Monday (5/25). Saturday (5/23) remains normal contractor hours.

Thank you for your time and patience during the busy holiday weekend.
Sincerely,
IMLCA
