Friends of Albion's Animals

Friends of Albion's Animals The Friends of Albion Animals exists to improve the lives of animals in the greater Albion area We also feed the feral colonies until they decrease over time.

What we are:
Friends of Albion's Animals is a 501(c)3 run by a group of volunteers within the City of Albion. We are funded entirely on donations or at times, from our own pockets. We do TNR (trap, neuter, release) to control the population of feral, abandoned cats within the City of Albion. We also vaccinate them so they do not spread diseases to pet outdoor cats. On the occasion that we find fri

endly abandoned cats, we make every effort to rehome them. We sometimes foster friendly kittens, sick or senior cats that cannot live in a colony, only when we have volunteers who will take them in until we can find forever homes for them. We also can provide help with food, and information on where to get low cost spay/neutering services

What we are not:
We are not a shelter, nor do we have a building we operate out of. We are not city employees. We cannot take your cat just because you need us to. Since 2013 Friends of Albion's Animals we have fixed over 3500 cats and rehomed close to 700. But our main goal is to educate folks on how to humanely treat and care for pets. Please, as a friendly reminder; just because a cat is outside does not make it a stray or feral (stray and feral are not interchangeable terms. Feral is antisocial and avoiding of people. Stray means a lost or abandoned pet cat). If you've read this far, thank you! If you would like to help us keep our pet food pantry open, fix the feral and stray cats in our community and continue educating folks on being responsible pet owners, please consider making a donation via our PayPal or Chewy links in the "About" section of our page or via USPS mail. We also accept bottle/can and food donations at our fundraisers.

Hey everyone, we hate to ask but we need your help to get these two vetted! Poor Fritz was trapped in Twin Pines with a horrible neck wound. We're thinking he tangled with a raccoon but we can't be sure. Little Zora has an eye injury that is currently being treated with antibiotics but she may need the eye removed if this doesn't work. We'll find out more on her follow-up next week. We've gotten them the vet care we can but it wiped us. Especially after trapping a stray mama with her six babies and the two pregnant fosters who recently delivered kittens. If you can spare a dollar or two or even some soft food for Fritz to eat until his throat is healed we'd be so very grateful!
