Help Restore the Heart of Our Community! Whitesboro Grange Matching Grant Campaign...

We're thrilled to announce that Whitesboro Grange has received a Matching Grant from The California State Grange for essential repairs to our building! We just found out this week!

What are we repairing?

Well, considering that the original Grange building was constructed somewhere around 1910 or 1911 as a one room schoolhouse and was sold to the California State Grange in 1950, this building has seen decades worth of community activities and changes.

* We need to replace our aging ADA-accessible ramp
* Lift a sinking part of the building
* Repair damage in our back walls from a bee infestation

To do this, we need your help! Here's how:

* Attend our monthly breakfast, and,
* Make a cash donation to our Building Fund (we have donation jars on the tables);
* OR mail a donation to: Whitesboro Grange, P.O. Box 282, Albion, CA 95410;
* Donate materials and/or labor. All matches count. (To donate, call 707-734-3596)

Our goal is to raise $5,000, and every dollar helps preserve this important community space. Thanks so much to all of you who have supported us across time, and please, consider donating - no amount is too small.

2.5 TONS of pancakes are consumed in the United States EVERY YEAR. That's approximately 75 BILLION pancakes.

Join us at Whitesboro Grange (32510 Navarro Ridge Rd., Albion) on Sunday, September 22 and help us add to that number! We'll be serving up a short stack with eggs your way and a ham slice, complete with orange juice and coffee (or non-caffeinated beverage) from 8:00AM to 11:30AM. Unlike some breakfast spots that might surprise you with hidden fees, our Pancake Breakfast keeps it straightforward. What you see is what you get – a plate piled high with deliciousness at a price that leaves you pleasantly surprised - only $10 for adults; $5 for children 6-12; and FREE for children under 6!

Can't get the family moving to dress up and come down to breakfast? No problem! We offer breakfast TO-GO. Just ask. You can't go wrong with a Sunday Pancake Breakfast from Whitesboro Grange, all the while helping your community, since proceeds from the breakfast are used to support local families in need as well as other community service organizations, including the Albion-Little River Fire Department, Redwood Coast Senior Center and others.

See you (and your appetite) on Sunday!

We’re excited to share that our disabled persons parking signs have been freshly replaced and the parking curbs in front of the signs have been painted regulation blue! This upgrade helps ensure that our community continues to provide accessible and convenient parking for those who need it. These new signs replace our old, past their prime wooden signs.
