Employee Spotlight: Emily Sims, Foundation Director

Emily Sims runs what we lovingly call the “warm and fuzzy” department, but make no mistake, behind that warmth is a fierce protector of our mission. Emily leads our Foundation with grace, compassion, and a determination that is second to none. And if she has a goal in mind, we pray you do not stand in her way!

Emily has a heart for this mission that everyone feels. She is deeply committed to being a good steward of every dollar entrusted to us, always working to ensure patients and families are able to be cared for to the very best of our abilities. She understands these funds represent hope, comfort, and support when it matters most, and she carries that responsibility with excellence.

One of Emily’s favorite parts of her work is the Last Wish program, and it is easy to see why. Helping grant wishes for those on their end-of-life journey is sacred work, and Emily pours her heart into getting it right. She believes these moments matter more than most people realize, and under her leadership, our Foundation always strives to go above and beyond to make each wish meaningful.

Emily has a way of blending strength and tenderness that makes her truly one of a kind. Everyone loves her heart, her passion, and the way she champions this mission every single day. We are so grateful for her!
