Female Fighters Matter Too (FFM2) is our latest campaign. World competitions world rarely award female competitors equivalent prizes that male divisions receive for winning grand champion titles. To spark a change, I began personally sponsoring several national and international events to double the cash prizes for women over their male division counterparts for winning grand champion titles. le Fighter Matter Too (FFM2) is a movement that aims to raise the standards that martial arts tournaments set for women competitor s worldwide, and to level the playing field for both men and women by creating equal opportunities for both within the martial arts arena. After I doubled the cash prizes offered for female martial artists at the National Martial Arts World tryouts in Detroit, Michigan, 2018, another sponsor stepped forward to raise cash prizes for male martial artists as well. I was overjoyed that the FFM2 campaign had sparked a change for the entire tournament. Change only happens where people make it happen, not wish it to happen or complain about it. It takes generations to change. If I drop the ball then we lose ground and all that we have fought for will be lost.”
