UFCW Local 1155 In August of 2024, the UFCW International approved the merger of Local 230 and Local 1155 of Marshalltown, IA, New Local number is UFCW Local 1846.

Local 1155 is a progressive local union we represent over 4200 members in 14 different companies with whom we have collective bargaining agreements with. These companies are located in Southern Minnesota & Northern ,and Central Iowa .Our relationship with these companies is based on mutual respect .Both parties know the other has an important job to do. Ours is to represent our members to the best

of our ability. The employers is to operate a profitable business that provides our members with the opportunity to work & earn a decent living. When both parties do their job well ,we all prosper.

Local 6 is a progressive local union with a proud democratic tradition. We we're chartered over 60 years ago & we represent over 1500 members in 13 different companies with whom we have collective bargaining agreements with .These companies are located in Southern Minnesota & Northern Iowa. Our relationship with these companies is based on mutual respect. Both parties know the other has an important job to do. Ours is to represent our members to the best of our ability. The employers is to operate a profitable business that provides our members with the opportunity to work & earn a decent living. When both parties do their job well, we all prosper. In October of 2020, the UFCW International approved the merger of Local 6 and Local 1149 from Marshalltown, Iowa. The merger brings together the 2 Locals under a new number.......UFCW Local 1155.
