We are officially EXHAUSTED… in the BEST way possible! 😴💚

This expo absolutely ROCKED our socks off! The support from everyone who stopped by, chatted with us, shopped our booth, and adopted animals was beyond anything we expected. You all showed up and blew our expectations out of the water! 🤯

🏡 Adoption Update:
🦎 6 Leopard Geckos found their forever homes!
🐍 4 Ball Pythons found amazing new families!

There is nothing better than watching these incredible animals start their next chapter with loving homes. Thank you to everyone who chose adoption and gave these animals the second chance they deserve. ❤️

Right now the Happy Scales crew is running on caffeine, snacks, and pure happiness while we recover from an amazing weekend. 😂

📸 Keep an eye on our page because we’ll be posting an updated list of adoptable animals soon. We still have some wonderful scales, tails, and other critters waiting patiently for their forever families!

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for supporting both Happy Scales & Tails Exotics and Happy Scales Rescue & Rehab. Every purchase, every adoption, every share, and every conversation helps us continue doing what we love.

Now if you’ll excuse us… we’re off to recharge our social batteries and maybe take a very long nap. 😅💤

💚 Thank you, Expo Family!
🦎🐍 See you all at the next event! 🐍🦎

Meet Balto 🐍✨

This boy is a ✨winner✨ and he KNOWS it… just look at that face 😍

Balto has the kind of calm, easygoing personality that makes him an absolute dream to handle. He’s relaxed, curious without being overwhelming, and would be a perfect fit for someone new to ball pythons or anyone looking for a chill, dependable companion.

And let’s be honest… that pattern and those colors? 🔥
He’s got the looks and the personality to match.

Balto is the type of snake that will quietly steal the show, then steal your heart right after ❤️

If you’ve been thinking about adding a ball python to your family, Balto might just be your guy.

Meet Space 🐍✨

This curious little noodle is always on a mission… whether it’s exploring, judging you, or just showing off that adorable face 😅

Don’t let the calm coils fool you, Space has a BIG personality packed into that sleek little body. He’s the type to come check you out first, then decide if you’re worthy of his time.

Warning: he will steal your heat… and your heart ❤️

If you’re looking for a ball python with personality, confidence, and just the right amount of sass, Space is your guy.

Meet Mochi 🐍💕

This shy little lady may be a bit reserved at first, but once she settles in, she’s an absolute sweetheart. Mochi’s favorite hobby? Soaking in her water bowl like it’s a luxury spa day 😅

She’s been doing great, gaining strength, and getting more comfortable every day. With just a little patience and love, she’s going to make someone an amazing companion.

📅 Mochi will be ready for adoption on the 24th

If you’re looking for a calm, gentle ball python with a soft personality, Mochi might just be your girl ❤️

Rescue glow-up in progress 🐍🦎✨

These guys came in needing some extra TLC, and now they’re out here doing what they do best… eating like champions and turning it into gains 💪😅

Our ball pythons are slowly upgrading from “mystery noodle” to “thick, healthy noodle,” and the leopard geckos have decided food is their full-time job now. Honestly, we respect the hustle.

Everyone is settling in, getting comfortable, and putting on weight exactly how we want to see it. A few more weeks and they’ll be ready to start their next adventure in new homes ❤️

Stay tuned… adoption day is coming soon, and trust us, you’re going to want first pick 👀

Hello Rescue Family,

Today was a very productive and rewarding day for our team. We successfully completed the expo, where we made many valuable new connections that we are excited to build on.

In addition, we took in a significant number of rescue animals, including 8 ball pythons and 9 leopard geckos. A few of these animals will require veterinary attention, which we are working to arrange as soon as possible this week. As of today, all new intakes have officially begun their 30-day quarantine period. Once they have been fully assessed and cleared, they will be listed for adoption on our rescue page.

We will also be seeking volunteer fosters once these animals have been approved for placement.

At this time, we could greatly use your support. If you have extra supplies such as bedding, heat tape, or rack systems, or if you would like to contribute toward veterinary care, please reach out to us for more information on how to donate.

Thank you for your continued support of Happy Scales Rescue & Rehab.

New Rescue Intakes – Safe & Loved 💚🐢

These babies were surrendered to us over the weekend. They are not here due to neglect or mistreatment. They are here because their human was facing an unsafe situation, and their wellbeing mattered enough to seek help.

We want to give a huge thank you to the kind community member who stepped in, picked them up, and helped a fellow human and these animals when it mattered most. This is exactly what community looks like. 🤍

They will be on a brief medical and wellness hold while we ensure everyone is healthy and ready for the next step. Once cleared, they will be placed up for adoption.

You will be able to read more of their story soon on our rescue website:
https://www.happyscalesrescuerehab.com

Thank you to everyone who supports rescue, compassion, and doing the right thing, even when it is hard.

Charlie is what we call a rescue fail. We fell in love with him and now he has all the love and attention he could ever want. You can see it in his eyes. Dragon respect and trust.
