We stand in solidarity with the civilians and brave humanitarian responders in Blue Nile State as they work tirelessly to ensure safety, food, protection, and the most basic services amid continued heavy fighting. Civilians must be protected, and humanitarian access must remain safe and unhindered.

The safety and dignity of civilians must remain at the center of all efforts. Solidarity with affected communities means protecting their right to live, move, and access humanitarian support without fear.

For the second consecutive day, the Kassala Youth Emergency Response Room continued its community-led water distribution campaign across several neighborhoods in Kassala city.

Water tankers were distributed in Al-Murabbaat (Block 25), Makram, and North Al-Halanga, reaching hundreds of families facing difficult humanitarian conditions and limited access to safe drinking water.

Across the targeted neighborhoods, the intervention supported nearly 350 families, helping ease daily burdens on affected communities and improve access to one of the most essential needs: clean water.

Community-led responses continue to fill critical gaps with solidarity, care, and collective action.

Sometimes access to something as basic as water can shape a student’s entire school day.

The Shoba Adawiya Emergency Response Room, with community and charitable support, organized water distribution for students at the boys’ and girls’ schools, helping ensure they can stay in class and continue learning.

Small interventions like this make a difference.
They help sustain dignity, focus, and continuity in the middle of disruption.

Community-led efforts continue to fill critical gaps 💙
