Today on the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, we will sound our station siren in remembrance of the lives lost that day, the heroes who responded, and everyone else affected by the events of that day.

🚒 Thank You, Tim Ring & State Farm!

Endy Fire Department would like to give a special thank-you to Tim Ring-State Farm Agent for donating an NFPA Fire Prevention Week kit to our department! This year's theme is Safe Charging is a Super Power! which focuses on safe charging habits to prevent lithium-ion battery fires.

Remember once it's fully charged unplug and always charge on a hard flat surface.

Endy VFD had the honor of meeting a recent motorcycle survivor from an accident on July 4th. We are happy to report that the driver is on a good road to recovery. The response of the 911 caller, the 911 dispatcher, department responders, and Stanly County EMS helped to truly make a difference in this young man’s life.

Missing Person

Gary Jordan is a 72 year old white male with dementia missing from the Norwood area and was last seen at approximately 9:30 am. Mr. Jordan is 5 ft 7 inches approximately 180lbs with a a medium build. He is bald with a grey beard and mustache. He was last seen wearing a brown or beige tshirt, dark green cargo style shorts, dark slip on shoes, and eye glasses. If you see Mr. Jordon please notify authorities immediately.

🔥 Mutual Aid Working Fire 🔥

​At 4:42 a.m. this morning, Stations 34 (Endy), 44 (Oakboro), and 46 (West Stanly) were dispatched to assist Station 36 (Ridgecrest) for a reported commercial structure fire at West Stanly Middle School. The reporting party advised that flames were visible above the roofline.
​Units responded swiftly, and upon arrival, it was confirmed that one mobile unit was fully involved with heavy fire showing; the fire was contained to this unit, with slight exposure damage to one other. Thankfully, no damage occurred to the main structure. Crews established an effective fire attack and water supply, successfully containing the fire approximately 15 minutes after arrival. The fire is under investigation by the Stanly County Fire Marshall's office.
