It was an honor for Badges & Boxes to serve as a presenter at the White House Task Force Anti-Human Trafficking Briefing and the White House World Cup Committee meeting.

We are truly grateful for the opportunity to help bring awareness to the threat of human trafficking as the World Cup approaches, and to contribute to an important conversation focused on protecting victims, strengthening partnerships, and improving public safety before, during, and after this major international event.

Everybody wants the title....

Officer
Detective
Lt.
Captain
Chief

Those are assignments and achievements. Temporary.
Given for a season.

They’ll fade. They’ll be replaced.

But there’s one title that outlives all of them, Servant.

Not servant to applause.
Not servant to promotion.
Not servant to ego.

A servant of Christ.

A steward of what you were entrusted with. Strength, skill, leadership, and influence.

Matthew 25:23 doesn’t say

“Well done, good and decorated.”
“Well done, good and impressive.”
“Well done, good and influential.”

It says: “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

Law enforcement is a calling, but your highest calling isn’t a rank, certifications, or followers.

One day the titles will be crossed out and only one will remain. Servant

Are we fulfilling what we were called to do or what we want to be known as?

We are absolutely heartbroken at the news about Greg Biffle and Cristina Grossu Biffle. Greg and Cristina were so nice at the Salt and Light event earlier this year, and had expressed their desire to team up with us at Badges & Boxes. They were an absolute force and true lifesavers in Western North Carolina.
