Troop 77 was initially chartered in 1952 and has
been active since the '70s. Troop 77 has a long,
proud tradition of helping boys become men of character. Chartered by Midway Fire Department in Colonie, New York, we support the Boy Scout principles such as Advancement, Service, Personal Growth, Leadership, and the Outdoors.

A weekend of service, community, and Scout spirit 🌲🇺🇸

Troop 1077 spent time at Pyramid Lake giving back to the outdoors we love, followed by providing support at the VFW Loyalty Day this past weekend.

Honored to serve those who served 🇺🇸

Scouts from Troop 1077 had the privilege of assisting with the Leatherstocking Honor Flight, proudly escorting our veterans. It was a powerful day filled with respect, gratitude, and meaningful connections across generations.

Thank you to our veterans for your sacrifice and service, and to our scouts for showing what leadership and citizenship look like in action.

After creating our service projects, a few of our scouts delivered the treats as well as dinner from combined donations of the Troop and Pack. We appreciated hearing their long-standing and amazing history across the nation and world supporting families with sick children. In Albany, they have three interconnected homes with anything and everything a family could need for supper, care and comfort. We were so impressed on our tour.

We look forward to serving and connecting our scouts with other projects and ways we can support them in the future!

Court of Honor celebrated the hard work, growth, and dedication of our incredible scouts. From earning a wide range of merit badges to advancing in rank, each achievement reflects perseverance, leadership, and a true commitment to the values of scouting.

We’re so proud of everything you’ve accomplished and are looking forward to all of the adventures you have planned!

We had 7 of our Scouts and 4 moms serve meals at the Schenectady City Mission for St. Patrick's Day. It was a great experience for all of us to give back to our community and the boys are looking forward to the next time!

Our scouts spent an evening on service projects for the Ronald McDonald House. We created “Sweet Dreams” Mint Cards as a “sweet” way to touch the families staying at the House. The cards are placed on pillows in the bedrooms.

The scouts also decorated individual cereal boxes to as Superhero Cereals. Each box has a super hero mask and cape to bring a smile 🙂

We will be donating these projects, bottle calls and a meal to the families on March 31.

Some Scouts completed the Fire Safety Merit Badge today at the FASNY Museum of Firefighting! 🚒

Some scouts joined a school fundraiser pancake breakfast at Applebees this past Sunday to help in clearing and resetting tables and washing dishes. Their help was appreciated by the organization and they represented their troop well. Nice work Scouts!

🥫 Troop 1077 gave back by volunteering at the Regional Food Bank, helping sort and pack food for individuals in need. We’re proud of these Scouts for living the Scout Oath and Law through service to their community!⚜️

Troop 1077 took flight at Urban Air for Bring-a-Friend Night! Scouts and friends jumped, climbed, and had a blast while sharing what Scouting is all about. Great energy, great friends, and even better memories! 🙌✨
