❄️ International Brotherhood of Plow Operators – Snowstorm PSA
A reminder to the public as a winter storm rolls in:
🚜 If you see a plow:
• Give it space
• Don’t tailgate
• Don’t pass it
• And no — we are not “almost done”
We’re pushing snow, not holding hands with black ice.
🚗 For everyone else:
• Slow down
• Stay off untreated roads if you can
• Your sedan on bald tires is not winning this battle
🥶 At home:
• Dress warm
• Take breaks while shoveling
• Hydrate — coffee alone doesn’t count
🏠 Power out?
Generators stay outside.
Carbon monoxide doesn’t care how cold it is.
🚨 Remember: Plow operators are out there so you don’t have to be. Help us help you — stay patient, stay back, and stay safe.
