🏅 Know a Kiwanian whose leadership deserves recognition?

Nominations for the Governor’s Leadership Medallion are now online! This special award recognizes Georgia District Kiwanians who strengthen their club, division and/or district while furthering the mission of Kiwanis.

Clubs may nominate one or more members using the online form:

Please submit nominations at least two weeks before your division rally.

Before submitting:
• Include the nominee’s full name and club name.
• Have the club president and secretary sign the form, unless either is being nominated.
• Confirm the nominee has not previously received this award—it is a once in a lifetime recognition.

Selected recipients will be recognized at their division rally. Clubs will be notified and encouraged to invite recipients’ families to join the celebration!

⏰ IMPORTANT KIWANIS REMINDER! September 30 marks the official end of the current Kiwanis administrative and fiscal year.

📅 Want your new members to count toward THIS YEAR'S membership numbers? Be sure they are officially added by September 30th!

There’s still time to finish the year strong. Reach out to those prospective members, welcome them into your club, and make sure they’re added before the deadline.

Here are some other important date reminders:
• October 1: The new Kiwanis administrative year begins. Annual dues invoices are typically calculated and sent around November 1.
• October 10: Final deadline at midnight (EST) for club secretaries to remove departing members from their rosters so they are not included in the new year’s dues billing.
• October 1–10: Clubs are encouraged to avoid adding new members during this brief year-end transition period while Kiwanis International processes roster updates and adjustments.

🌹 This morning, Kiwanians gathered together in remembrance.

During our Memorial Service, we paused to honor the fellow Kiwanians we lost this past year—friends and servant leaders whose dedication, kindness, and impact continue to live on in the communities they served. 💙💛

A white rose was presented for each Kiwanian, a simple and meaningful symbol that although they are no longer with us, they are never forgotten.

We remember their service. We remember their friendship. We remember the difference they made.

Their legacy continues through the lives they touched and through the work we carry forward in their honor.

🌹 In memory. In service. In our hearts. Always.

☀️💙💛 Good morning from Peachtree City! It’s Day 3 of the Georgia District of Kiwanis Convention!

As we begin our final day together, we’re looking forward to a meaningful morning of remembrance, fellowship, leadership, and celebration.

Today’s schedule includes our Memorial Service, Installation Brunch, board meetings, and the 2026–27 Board of Trustees Meeting as we close out an incredible convention weekend.

👢✨👠 From cowboy boots to high heels—we’re dressed for the occasion!

Friday night, Georgia Kiwanians kicked up their boots and showed off their Western spirit at the BBQ Dinner. 🤠 Tonight, we’re trading cowboy hats and denim for our banquet best as we gather for the Governor’s Banquet! 💙💛

But tonight is about much more than dressing up. It’s an opportunity to recognize and celebrate our Georgia District of Kiwanis Board Officers and Lieutenant Governors for their hard work, leadership, and dedication throughout this past year.

To our leaders: thank you for the countless hours you’ve given, the clubs you’ve supported, and the Kiwanis spirit you’ve carried across our District. Tonight, we celebrate YOU! 🥂👏

So whether it’s boots or heels, denim or formal wear, Georgia Kiwanians know how to dress for the occasion—and how to celebrate service in style! ✨
