We're proud to be able to help children and families in our community with necessary school supplies! Thank you Albany community for your generous donations, so that we can facilitate this project!

A big thank-you to the Albany Lions Club and our generous Albany community for making school supplies available to families who may need help getting ready for the school year.

Families in need of school supplies can stop by the Albany School District Office Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. Supplies will also be available during our Back-to-School Night on Wednesday, August 26, from 5:00–7:00 p.m.

Thank you for helping make sure every Albany student has the supplies they need to start the school year ready to learn!

The Albany Lions Club celebrated their annual raffle at their Pig Out dinner this past weekend. In all, the Lions Club raised over $11,000 in their raffle with proceeds given back to the community through gift cards for those in need, scholarships for graduating high school seniors, various local and community organizations, and Lions Club International charities.

The Albany Lions Club will be accepting donations of school supplies at the annual PIG OUT this Saturday, August 1st between 4:30 and 8:00 p.m. Help us help children in our school district. School supplies and cash donations will be accepted.

The Albany Lions Club is holding their annual Stuff the Bus campaign by collecting school supplies for local children and families in need. The "official" fundraiser will be held at the Lions Club's Pig Out dinner on Saturday, August 1st from 4:30-8:00 p.m., but donations can be dropped off at various locations throughout Albany.

Items that are in particular need are Crayola markers, colored pencils, and crayons, highlighter markers, EXPO markers, glue sticks, #2 pencils, composition notebooks, graph paper, Kleenex tissues, and disinfectant wipes. Financial donations are appreciated, as well.

We hope you will come and support our Lions Club for our biggest fundraiser of the year.

Raffle tickets are available that day or from any Albany Lion's Club member prior to. Tickets are $10.00 each or 7 for $50.00, with the drawing at 8:15 p.m. on the day of the Pig Out.

Oh what a day it was! We had 238 cars registered for today's car show! We had to cut things a little short because of the rain that rolled in, but we had a good time with car fanatics from all over the area!

There is still plenty of time to take in some fancy cars and trucks at the 2026 Albany Lions Club Car Show today. Burgers, brats, beer, ice cream, and MORE! We're here until 3:00 p.m.
