The City of Albany has released a revised FY2027 Proposed Budget Book.
The original version included figures from an earlier draft that did not reflect final adjustments.
Here are the main changes:
Mayor’s Office: The earlier version said the Mayor’s Office increased by $635,509, that is inaccurate. The increase is $13,182 compared with the 2026 Adopted Budget.
Spending categories: Funding was moved to the correct budget lines, and did not increase the overall budget.
Position counts: Position totals were corrected, including police counts, added fire positions, and smaller updates across departments.
