Tru Heart Inc. is raising $5,000 to support two incredible organizations fighting food insecurity right here in our region:
The Connect Center for Youth’s Free Food Pantry (led by Ben Williams) —
The Free Food Fridge Albany (founded by Jammella Anderson) —
Our goal is simple: $2,500 for each organization, in either food or monetary donations — and we need your help to reach it by 12/15/25.
If just 100 people give $50, we’ll hit our goal. Every donation, big or small, makes a real impact. ❤️
🥫 What to Donate
For the Connect Center for Youth Pantry they accept: Non-perishable food staples, Frozen meat, Hygiene items, feminine hygiene products, Dental care: toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc.
For the Free Food Fridge Albany they prioritize: Fresh produce, Fruits, Bread, Dairy alternatives, Frozen veggies, frozen meals, Ready-to-eat items, individually packaged snacks, Prepared meals from restaurants, caterers, or home cooks
