As flags are placed and families gather in remembrance, our cemeteries stand as sacred places of gratitude, reflection, and respect. We are proud to help preserve the memory of those who served and to ensure their sacrifice is never forgotten.

NYSAC 2026 Government and Legal Affairs Seminar.

This informative two day program will once again be held at the Crowne Plaza Albany (formerly The Desmond Hotel) on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 and Wednesday, May 13, 2026. You will hear from industry experts on topics ranging from investment management to regulatory affairs. The program also includes strong networking opportunities along with interactive sessions where questions are welcome and encouraged.

Last week we were joined by friends and colleagues with our partners at the Metropolitan Cemetery Association for the 2026 Joint Cemetery Exposition. This one day event allows our members to interact with Cemeterians, suppliers and hear from the industry experts.

This informative and educational conference provides a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the tools that can be leveraged by cemeteries of all sizes to ensure successful cemetery operation and maintenance. You will hear from industry experts on topics ranging from financial management to regulatory affairs, and questions are not only welcomed but encouraged!

The conference will also feature a panel of cemetery superintendents who will be discussing a broad range of cemetery
management issues and answering all of your pressing questions.

Join us for the 3rd Annual Caring For Your Cemetery Day!

This year’s volunteer clean-up event will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026 and/or Sunday, April 26, 2026. Cemeteries may choose one or both dates.

Our vision for the day is to welcome volunteers into cemeteries to help with tasks such as:

--Cleaning up small debris, trash, and seasonal decorations
Planting flowers
-Removing downed branches, weeds, and overgrowth
-Scattering grass seed
-Other light tasks appropriate for untrained volunteers
