Every year, Albany’s St. Patrick’s Day celebration brings thousands of people together, and the St. Patrick’s Day Committee continues to give back to the city that helps make it possible.

I was grateful to welcome committee members to City Hall as they presented their annual contribution, helping reimburse the City for costs associated with supporting the celebration.

Those dollars go directly to the Capital City Fund, where they continue working for Albany by supporting community programs and initiatives throughout our city.

Thank you to the committee for your continued partnership, generosity, and commitment to giving back year after year.

The objective of the sport is to score points by scoring the ball through the other team's goal (3 points) or over the crossbar between two upright posts (1 point).
