𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐥𝐢 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐲 (𝐁𝐇𝐃) is our annual celebration of Bengal’s culture, creativity, and community spirit — a day that brings together memories of home through music, theatre, dance, and togetherness. On 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟏𝟑, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, the Hindu Cultural Center in Albany will once again come alive with the colors and warmth of Bengali heritage.

This year, Utsav proudly presents the Bengali comedy drama “𝑲𝒆𝒏𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒎 𝑩𝒆𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒎” — a delightful social satire filled with humor, wit, and timeless relevance. Written by Manoj Mitra and directed by Madhumita Goswami, the production is being staged under the presentation of Swapan Bhattacharya. Our dedicated cast, coordinators, and volunteers have been working tirelessly behind the scenes to bring this beloved play to life.

Alongside the drama, the evening will feature a vibrant lineup of music, dance, and cultural performances celebrating the richness of Bengali tradition and artistry.

The program begins at 𝟐:𝟑𝟎 𝐏𝐌 at the Hindu Cultural Center, Albany.

Some days are meant to be felt more than explained.
Saraswati Puja is one of them.

In between shared glances, folded hands, and small moments of stillness, the day unfolded. Laughter mixed with prayer. Silence made room for thought. Colors, food, and familiar faces came together without effort.

What stayed with us was not just the rituals, but the feeling. A sense of calm. Of learning. Of being rooted, together.
