Last Thursday, JFS and the Jewish Federation of NENY came together to celebrate International Holocaust Survivor Day with a special luncheon honoring the strength, resilience, and legacy of local Holocaust Survivors.
Survivors, family members, and community supporters gathered to share stories, reconnect with friends, and reflect on the importance of preserving these voices for future generations.
As we honor our local Survivors, we remain committed to supporting them not just during special events, but every day. To help ensure they continue receiving the care and assistance they need, JFS is working to raise $10,000, which will unlock a 1-to-1 match through KAVOD SHEF. Together, this initiative will provide more than $20,000 annually for an emergency needs fund serving local Holocaust Survivors.
