🎉 Albany Community Together Selected for Financial Product Lab!

We are excited to announce that Albany Community Together, Inc. (ACT!) has been selected as one of seven community development financial institutions (CDFIs) nationwide to participate in Opportunity Finance Network’s Financial Product Lab, supported by a grant from the Truist Foundation.

This opportunity allows ACT! to be part of an innovative effort focused on expanding access to capital for small businesses—especially entrepreneurs who face barriers to traditional financing.

Through the Financial Product Lab, we will work alongside fellow CDFIs and innovation experts to develop and test new financial products designed to make financing more accessible, flexible, and responsive to the needs of small businesses.

💰 Collectively, the initiative will deploy up to $1.05 million in capital to small businesses through the participating CDFIs.

For ACT!, this is more than an opportunity to innovate—it’s an opportunity to strengthen our ability to serve entrepreneurs in Albany and communities across Southwest Georgia.

Albany Community Together, Inc. (ACT!) has been awarded a $500,000 USDA Rural Development grant to establish a revolving loan fund expanding access to capital for eligible small businesses across 14 Southwest Georgia counties.

The fund will support business growth, job creation, and expansion—giving local entrepreneurs another resource to access the capital they need to thrive.
