We would like to give a special THANKS to our Ballet Theatre South volunteers! BTS is entirely managed by BTS parents and rely almost completely on parent volunteers and other volunteers from the community. Our shows would not be possible without YOU!

✨️🩰✨️ Senior Spotlight ✨️🩰✨️

Emily Reese is a homeschooled high school senior who began dancing at the age of 11 and has been performing with Ballet Theatre South for the past five years. This season, she is thrilled to take on the role of Clara in The Nutcracker. Outside the studio, Emily is a varsity cheerleader at Byne Christian School and an active member of Philema Road Baptist Church, where she enjoys teaching in the children’s ministry. She has been accepted to Kennesaw State University, where she plans to double major in Dance and Secondary Education beginning next fall. Emily looks forward to continuing her dance journey and pursuing her path toward a career in teaching.

✨️🩰✨️ Senior Spotlight ✨️🩰✨️

Julianna Pruitt, a dancer in the senior company, began dancing locally at the age of 9 when her family settled in the Albany area after their military service. She joined BTS and participated in her first show, Peter Pan, at age 13. This year, her 3rd time participating in The Nutcracker, Julianna will be performing as the doll, Columbine, the lead Spanish dancer, and in Snow and Waltz of the Flowers. Julianna also loves playing the harp and plans to pursue higher education and training on her musical instrument at college after graduation.

✨️🩰✨️ Senior Spotlight ✨️🩰✨️

Alexandria Wilson is a senior dancer who has been a dedicated member of Ballet Theatre South since the age of 8. Over the years, she has performed in various performances such as The Nutcracker, Alice in Wonderland, Arabian Nights, Peter Pan, and Snow White. This season in The Nutcracker, Alexandria performs in multiple roles, including the Soldier Doll, Rat, Demi Snow, Candy Cane, Arabian Lead, and Demi Flower. She is currently a senior at Deerfield-Windsor school and is a member of Varsity Football and Basketball Danceline. After high school, she plans on majoring in biology at Georgia Southern University.
