Withdrawal from 2027 Senatorial Ambition!
I write to formally pull back from any planning toward contesting for the Senatorial seat in the 2027 Nigerian elections following extensive consultations with Southern Borno elders and my father, who has pledged his support for Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume.
Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume, who is not only a father figure but also a trusted confidant and mentor, has continued to demonstrate committed leadership and dedication to the development of our people. In view of the overwhelming counsel and support expressed during these consultations, I have decided to step aside in respect of the collective interest and unity of our constituency.
I have also been assured of maximum support and guidance at the appropriate time, and I remain committed to contributing positively to the progress and development of Southern Borno and Nigeria at large.
I sincerely appreciate all supporters, friends, and well-wishers who believed in my aspirations and encouraged me throughout this period. Your confidence and goodwill remain deeply valued.
