WITH PROFOUND SADNESS, the Festival of Nations announces the passing of Professor Philip J. DiNovo.

Professor DiNovo was a devoted member of the Festival of Nations for decades, sharing his passion for culture, heritage, and community.
He was also the founder of the American Italian Heritage Museum at 1227 Central Avenue in Albany.

Professor Philip J. DiNovo, 92, passed away on June 5, 2026. His contributions to our community and his dedication to preserving and celebrating cultural heritage will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Funeral services will be held at All Saints Catholic Church, 16 Homestead Street, Albany, on Wednesday, June 10. Calling hours begin at 8:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m.
