Soul Tribe Eats is a grassroots, intergenerational program creating custom solutions to environmental racism and urban food apartheid. It is a not well enough known fact that before being kidnapped, shipped and sold all over the diaspora, African women hid grain and seeds in the hair of their children. What we know at Soul Tribe is that the time to plant those seeds is now. In soil that is fertile

with potential and tilled by communal hands of all ages. In soil where they will grow in the minds and hearts of self determining families who are orchestrating their own healing. As a program team we deeply appreciate your time, support and shared commitment fostering a community that values wellness, expression and uplift. Let us create a network of alliances that support neighborhood environmental justice programs that are done along with the people who live in our cities and neighborhoods, and not simply around them.
