The United Way of Southwest Georgia and a special group of their volunteers toured our Albany facility today. It was an honor to share our mission with them - our RSVP / Wellness, RAMP and Home delivered meals programs are supported in part by the United Way. We are grateful for their partnership!

In Observance of 9/11, Phoebe Volunteer Services and SOWEGA Council on Aging/Area Agency on Aging presented teddy bears earlier today to community first responders as a thank you for their service to the community.

The RSVP Sewing Program makes the teddy bears, which are distributed throughout all Phoebe hospitals in the Emergency Center, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Surgical Family Waiting, Admitting Registration, Pediatrics and ICU waiting areas. Individuals who participate in the program are not only volunteers with the SOWEGA Council on Aging but also Phoebe Volunteers.
