AJLI is an organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Our purpose is exclusively e

ducational and charitable. Junior Leagues reach out to women of all races, religions and national origins who demonstrate an interest in and commitment to volunteerism.

Over her 11 years in the League, Beverly has built meaningful friendships, developed leadership skills, and found countless ways to give back to the city she loves. From supporting local nonprofit partners like Children’s Miracle Network to helping make Kids in the Kitchen one of the most meaningful highlights of her League year, her passion for serving Albany shines through.

Growth doesn’t always feel easy—but it’s always worth it. 💙

Ginger joined the Junior League of Albany in 2015 and, like many, questioned if it was the right fit early on. But choosing to stay led to something greater than she imagined.

Over 11 years, she has grown into a leader—serving in multiple roles, including President—and gained a deeper connection to the community she serves.

What kept her? The impact, the growth, and most importantly, the relationships.

The Junior League of Albany, GA, is committed to ensuring access to menstrual products for all, removing barriers to education and participation in everyday life.
In past service projects, our members have decorated and packed period care bags for Mamas, helping support women and families in our community with essential care items. It’s one of the many ways we continue working to raise awareness and make a tangible difference.
