In a state as strong as New York, no one should have to choose between paying bills and buying groceries.

Yesterday, our Executive Director Natasha Pernicka testified at the New York State Joint Legislative Health Budget Hearing, calling for $75 million each for HPNAP and Nourish New York to ensure families, seniors, and children have access to nutritious food. Natasha also called for direct contracts with direct providers which is critical to providing autonomy in food purchasing, operational support, and increasing access.
